Bobbins of precursor are loaded on an off-take Creel and the individual tows are presented to an eyelet board or comb to maintain tow position and identity prior to entry the Oxidation oven. The robot lifter will be used for loading the heaving bobbins (max.500kg).

Carbon Fiber Oxidation Oven

The carbon fiber band is passed horizontally a number of times through electrical or gas heated oxidation ovens connected in tandem, where the fiber is heated up to a temperature of about 220 – 300 °C. The main component of the abatement system is the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer RTO and TO with heat exchanger.
